For Christmas we worked with Pronto of Long island to have a picture with Santa event for the kids. We also set up workshops for the kids to make their own stockings, making hot cocoa and cookies and also picking their own candy canes.

Your contribution this year helped us reach our goal of feeding 100 families for Thanksgiving. We provided a turkey and nonperishable items for each family in need. We also held an event where we gave out hot food, live music and were able to give away 9 gift baskets all containing presents for the holidays. The event was open to all, and all in the community were encouraged to come join. We are very thankful to have you on our team! For halloween we set up a trunk or treat, people in the community came out and decorated the trunks of their cars and gave out candy to the kids that walked by. We also set up workshops for the kids. We had a pumpkin decoration station, a cupcake decoration station and we had a brown bag decoration station for kids to design bags that we could use to put food in and give to people in need on thanksgiving.

For our back to school event we were able to donate 100 backpacks to Pronto of long island. We raffled off two brand new bikes to two lucky kids and $100 to a lucky parent . We participated in the event with Pronto to give over 700 backpacks and school supplies to kids in need. The event had a bunch of resources for the community. They also had face painting, hair braiding, snacks and a bouncy house for the kids.
